Message regarding some shoes that came out in 2007 (rare vans heat) which I'm selling for $145...
"Hi I'm interested in the vans as I have the the red/blue and blue/brown ones and I'm missing these and they are my size I'm willing to pay you $100.00 for the shoes but if you accept I will not be able to pay until July 27 please consider my offer as I think it is fair as retail is 85.00 for new. Also do you have the checkered laces and the bike pads?"
Seriously, can people NOT read a listing!? I even mentioned what the shoes come with!

I love this topic! I had pages of PMs from eBay and other shoe forums on the same topic from past years. People surprise me day to day.
I once sent a msg to a winner of one of my eBay auctions regarding the tardiness of his payment for the item. He eventually responded that I will be paid in just over a week because he was short $10 and had to wait till payday. REALLY?! If you don't have $10 fucking dollars then you might want to rethink buying sneakers!! BTW the winning bid was less than $50!!!!!

If I get any when my listings go up today I'll post them. I've gotten a few. Some memorable ones being the trades. I mean people wanting me to trade them what's listed, ship first while the listing is still going, and expect me to pay both sides of the shipping? Come on guys

Not kinda,VERY. That's my opinion though. Some people have better luck selling than others,
as I appear to have none on here.

^, Crimson, Well of course it's a little high, but I do have to pay ebay, then paypal, then ship them. I paid a bit over retail, so to me it has to be worth it otherwise I'll just keep em.
Haha sounds good ID! Looking forward to some funny ones
Luis, I have encountered these guys a couple of times. People amaze me so much on ebay with offers like that, I feel like 75% of the messages I get cause me to spit my drink out.
I recently had a guy who bought some shoes from me, didn't pay until I opened a case, then opened an "item not received" case TWO days after paying me. He was international!

I had a guy offer to trade me his sea blue corduroy supremes for my campbell's supremes the other day. I told him I already had the sea blue, to which he responded I should make the trade anyway cuz I could easily flip them for $150+... haha I told him to sell them if he think she can get $150, then pay me for the campbell's, to which I got no response.

I have a ton of stories that I guess I just quoted from the eBay msg system and posted to other forums. I thought I took screen shots but no luck finding them in my photobucket.
There is ALMOST nothing that surprises me of what the young, broke, hypebeast will attempt to get something they want.

Got this question: "Would you sell the insole?"
I'm selling the (whole) shoes... Not the insole...

^ I got something similar, but in the end, I came out victorious.
I was sellin some Air Max's...
Buyer: "The shoes are cool, but I really would want the laces....."
Me: "But I'd rather sell the shoes....but if you offer me, I might just consider....."
Buyer: "I'll give you $40 for the laces......"
Me: "Done......"
So then after, I went on Amazon, and bought the same laces for $2.99, and resold the shoes.
