Vans Vault teams up with Taka Hayashi for a formidable synthesis of the chukka and the espadrille. Part of their Fall 2011 collection, the Espadrille TH LX was inspired by traditional Japanese footwear and is crafted from Basque canvas with suede uppers and a hemp midsole. Available in six colors – including a dusty pink and a bright red for those brave enough to rock them – the kicks will be available in July 2011 from selected Vans Vault retail accounts.

I just ordered the black pair. Can't wait for them to arrive. Really like the Taupe colorway as well so I'll probably try and track them down.
