I REALLY wish they had used some other leather for those eras... They're super nice, but I absolutely HATE pebbled leather!! haha

I kinda like those Trek Hi LX II's in the brown colorway...but damn $240 is a mountain I'm not sure I'm ready to go over! I'm sure they'll be worth it. I mean, it's got Vault, Horween, Taka, and Vibram all in one shoe. If that doesn't put these at the top of the Vans pyramid, then what does?!

definitely looked better than online. leather is great, but price is harsh for a pair of eras lol

Literally hovered over "add to cart" for 5 minutes. Ended up attempting to buy the Paraguay. But bOdega and PayPal were having conflicts. I just had to tell myself that these are not my kind of style. Not enough sweaters and polo shirts if you catch my drift. Lol

regular shirt with no logo, or brown coat would go well with these imo

Yeah, I don't like it when they use this "welt". Isn't needed and looks cheap. I don't mind it on my Holden Sk8-Hi though but it's black on black.

I really like that camo patterned leather but nothing else jives with it for me.

I'm actually a big fan of the 'welt' they use for the midsoles. I think it gives the shoe more of a handmade vibe to it than a cheap one; almost like a moccasin. I'm glad that they've been using it more often. But of course, to each his own.

The Sk8-Mids are soooooooooo ugly, damn

The sole could use a little staining but the WHITE LACES ARE CHOICE!!!
