SO UNDERRATED! Ive worn my pairs to death and like them more and more every time.... made me ok with black soles for the first time in a long time. Glad I nabbed a grip of em...should be sitting good for a while.

So true! I love my pairs. I should get some backups... I haven't worn mine as much as I'd like to prolong their life... haha

^ I received my era today too. on my pair the greghunt branding on the insole wasn't glued correctly or something which make it easy to peel, but the shoes are too nice not to have in the collection. I am thinking about getting a second pair already.

there were definitely a few dings/ dents and bubbles in the run that i noticed so far. for all my customers that skate them, they dont mind at all...but for the guys that buy every release and want them nice / save them, i tried my best to pair together the cleaner / closest matching sets i possibly could. I have one pair of 12's that are so covered in glue im going to have to really work to make them sell-able. its a double edged sword though, cant send em back or get them replaced because there is no stock to replace them with. Kind of just have to appreciate the hand crafted style and accept the flaws....would rather have them than nothing.... my 2 cents anyway.

we got in a couple more 9-11 era's this week if anyone is still hunting a pair....the sk8 lows are almost gone, but the era's i am way stoked to have a few more to offer. one to skate and one to save....

SlipOn: one of my Era's had the same messy glue spot. My AV Sk8-Low had one on the waxed canvas part, so I was able to pick it off like those magazine boogers from advertising inserts.

Cris: Regarding the Royal Hawaiians...did you notice the bottom 3 eyelets have the option to lace up only through the inner panel, for lace protection? I laced one of mine up like that, and it looks kinda funny, but I can see it's functionality. The new Hosoi Navy/White Sk8-Hi Verts also have that feature, but towards the top lace eyelets. At first, I thought it was a factory error, like the front and back panels didn't get stitched together, but then I saw how the stitching on the outer part, deliberately went around it. Kinda cool!

silo: Yeah, it's a Vans thing! Hehe, although Nike and Jordan get away with that shit way too often, for the pricing that they sell their kicks at.
