I would get both colors too.. if I could get em for retail.

That SK8 HI would have been great... also if they used the doc soles and the leather too.

And the Pull Tabs made the shoe... dont know why they killed it for final production.

Love to grab a pair of the samples with the pull tab...

Stopped by UNDFTD SL yesterday, and it was raining, so I finally had a reason to cop these! Love 'em.

So for xmas I got Grey and Brown Akats, sadly the grey had stitching tearing
near the toe area which gave the shoe this blown out look so I had to return them.
Many other complications happened due to misunderstanding so long story short I
ended up with only the brown which fit a little tight. Hopefully they stretch or I'll be
able to find a 10 down the road.


And today I just so happened to come across my Grail of all vans in my size. Needless
to say I got them asap! So stoked as I thought I would never own them and if I did
they would not be in my size.

(Oddly enough on the inside of the tongue it says "Sample Not For Resale" do all the simpsons
vans say that?)

great pickup on the taka's, where did you find a them? Ill check my pair but i doubt all pairs say samples.

still need to grab me a pair of those natives..

No, not all simpson vans have that. My old kaws chukkkas just had a regular size label.

They'll stretch nicely. After a couple days my 11.5 that I thought weren't going to work fit like a glove. Now the shoes are so perfectly molded to my feet, I haven't worn anything esle since winter started.

I have Simpsons x TH Sk8-Hi's too, and mine say sample not for resale on the tongue, but they also have the blue Vans sample tags as well, but I sometimes wonder if Vans lets some go through, or if they ever give out samples with boxes?

Yeah mine don't have a size label but they are size 10's so maybe thats what they did since usually samples are in 9's. Just was curious either way they were complete with no sample tags. Glad I was able to find them since I did'nt think I would ever own them due to reseller pricings. Got lucky and got them near retail.

Also thanks stoopz for the reassurance. I could wear them but are a bit tight so I'll just let them break in. Still wished the Grey were not torn also have my eyes on the blacks now too.

nice sk8 his hector. I've been sleeping on akats. They still have the grey/camel colored leather akats @ blends. So tempting!
