There's an "orange zebra" hat and tshirt, too... If they release those three colorways, my wallet is definitely going to be hurting.

Yup... If they release those 3 colorways... I'm gonna need all 3. And here I thought the upcoming season was gonna be looking a little cheap for me since I doubt I'd be picking up the Mike Carroll's or the Old Skools... Then they had to go and do these and the chukkas. Good lord, I don't even wanna think about what other potential colors there might be with the chukkas... haha
On a side note, those tees are $78! That's $10 less than their shoes usually are... For a tshirt. haha

Haha, sarcasm I'm assuming? I'm actually surprised that their Vans collabs aren't more than $88 since everything else is way higher than I'd pay for what it is.

yeah I would never pay for Supremes stuff... Only their shoes and I swear looking at their prices you would assume a shoe collab would jump to about $150... I want to meet the people who come up with the pricing of their jackets and sweatshirts...

Haha tell me about it. I've got like 3 pairs of their shoes, but that's only because their shoes actually seem worth it for the most part. I'm just glad the shoes stay pretty moderately priced, cuz that's all I tend to care about from 'em! I wonder if Vans tells them what price range they can sell their collabs at?

I can't wait to see some kid decked out in the hat, shirt, coat, shorts, and shoes - that's going to be a fucking awesome outfit!
Unfortunatly I can't rock that here in the Midwest. I would inevitably be shot on site in the hopes that I was a real zebra.

if supreme doubled all their items they would still sell for sure thats what happens when your company only has select stores carry your brand and not expanding like other brands such as the hundreds undftd etc and plus japs go crazy over that shit no racism intended but its the truth........and if you wanna talk about high prices lets look at visvims s/s
but i really want the shoes i got the back pack and im waiting for my next paycheck to get the damn jacket....the blue one is looking good though its gonna be hard to pick

I dunno, skateboarders, punks, and weird kids all seem to like zebra and well, animal prints in general... haha
At least, this punk/weird kid likes it! If they make an orange pair, they'd go great with the punk rock jacket I made back in the day that I put tiger stripes on the shoulders and collar and added a checkered lining inside. haha

Supreme is not impervious to a recession and being limited is a key, but it’s not the end game. They could price themselves out of the market…and comparing American markets to Japanese doesn’t make any sense. As someone mentioned in another post, they mark the items up for the Japanese market…as does pretty much everyone. Supreme doesn’t have the same brand recognition that I think some people give it. It’s not like we’re talking about the GAP or even H&M. I live in a town made up roughly of 100 thousand people, roughly half of them being college students at one of the universities in our city. I have never seen another person wearing a piece of Supreme gear. Outside of Cali and NYC, there name doesn’t go that far.
I know I'm pretty far off on some other shit, but I think it's intresting to think about. I assosiate myself with the brand because it's a skateshop and I like there style...there's always been a heavy assosiation to mid 90's skateboarding, which is when I started skating, so there was that. On the other hand, why would I pay what most would consider lavish ammounts of money just to wear there gear? Well shit, if you can figure that out - fill me in, because I'd like to make Supreme money.

With Supreme, their popularity started in Japan, and then trickled back to us. The US follows fashion trends, more than it creates them, so we pretty much just got hyped up on the sneaker thing, then it branched off into the clothing of the same companies. One day, I think it will go back to basics, like Dickies and a blank tee. Let the shoes stand out again. Okay, maybe not blank, but you notice how everyone is up on the 80s style tees, with the large back logo, and small breast logo? Tshirt trends will change too. I think.
