After all the mess with my orders last night, I was able to switch the Blk Sk8-Hi for the White ones from Tres-Bien, Black ones are coming from DQM so both Sk8-His for me.

I am 200% sure. No one should or will pay more than $250 - eventually. Maybe.

What about the conspiracy theory that there are more than 400 pairs per style.

That's the rumor on Facebook. They didn't sell out fast enough so people are saying there must be ore than 400 pairs worldwide. I think they announced on Friday and sold on Sunday. So only Vans fans knew about them - not enough time for the word to get out to the mainstream. Monday morning Tres Bien still has pairs.

CONSPIRACY THEORIES

"i think 300 of each shoe?"
"Even that is a ridiculously little amount. So what you're saying is that each dqm, open ceremony, and tres bien got 100 pairs each of each model and can't sell out within 20 hours? That's super sketch to me."

"Tres bien had 18 pairs of each style and color."

"t's been over 20 hours since the release and there's still stock left at tres bien.
And I highly doubt it's 300 pairs only cause no way they'd sell so little and some would still be in stock."

no specific mention of production quantity

"with less than 300 pairs of each style produced"

I didn't mean to imply that they would get those eBay prices - I just use ridiculous eBay prices as a way to measure hype levels.

I agree.
I think they didn't sell out instantly because of the fast turnaround from announcement to drop.
announced friday - drop at midnight saturday
Vans fans knew it, Regular humans did not.
