Richy I was gonna sell 'em to Skorone for $100 but I couldn't wait any longer. They're gone. I needed the money badly.

Bummer man. I'm going to have to sell my black pair and some other shoes. I'm going to be spening lots of $$$$ for Iron Maiden tickets/airfare this month.

Never had to sell any shoes the 3 times I've seen Maiden, but I'd do it in a heartbeat. Just saw them in Chicago this last summer here and it was pretty fantastic. The new albums actually got some good jams on it.

I never really had to either, but airfare is what's going to be killer because they're only doing 2 dates in the U.S. for the next tour so I'll be doing both plus two Mexico dates. I'll be spending a little over 1k. Probably more than most people would spend, but they're my favorite band and they put on the best shows! Seen em 13 times since 2001. All of them on the barier except for 3 shows.

So you saw them in Chicago? For the Final Frontier Tour right? I heard your show didn't get a tour shirt for the first time.

Yeah, I saw them at the First Midway Bank Ampitheatre (previously Tweeter Center) back in July w/ Dream Theater. My bro has a hook up with his wifes family and they own a skybox at the theater. Not too many people in the company are interested in the metal shows, so we generally get the tickets. The sound in that place sucks, but you can't beat all the free food, booze and good times. The whole tour shirt things was a bit of a fiasco from what I understand, people were pretty pissed.

Seeing them play at the same at Ozzfest at the same place a few years back is easily in my top 5 shows that I've ever seen. There set list was insane.

^Awesome man. Sound usually sucks at amphitheaters. Problem with that show is that too many people complained about the set list. They wanted the old stuff. You know. The only songs some people know like the trooper, run to the hills, and the number of the beast which they did play.

Wait till 2012. They are doing a "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" reunion tour. Basically like the "Somewhere back in time tour"

....and Cris, nice mids. I can't stop wearing my black pair.

and got the surfrider era for 26 bucks from ebay.

nope, dude said it was worn 5 times. when I got them in the mail shoes were clean and smell like brand new.
