At least some of Jason Dill's hipster ass followers will flock to these.. He got big and Syndicate is using him to sell their product, it seems, which I don't agree with.
That being said, the interiors of these look nice and both colorways are cool, I just wish they chose a different model. I undertand that this shoe skates well so I'm down for this release. Just not the affiliation with Dill, mister "up river".
Looking to buy:
.Blends Sk8 Hi in black, 8-9.5 would be accepted. If anyone here has a pair I will trade serious heat for them.
.007 Grime Slip On's (Claw, not the Skull version) Will pay healthy prices for these. Shoot me a PM.
I was sampled in these a while back and ran the black ones for a month straight...the pebble grain is a super nice texture and makes the shoe... has a great vibe of classy / skate.
The wheat I hated the first time I saw them, but have since completely 180'd my opinion.... just so perfect with a pair of jeans and white tee. I have yet to see dill wear a single derby s to this day, but I can see him rocking them in my brain and even that is enough to stoke me out....but I am definitely a fan.
All the little details of these 2 colorways I was hesitant about at first (bright blue soles, braided lace, etc...) but they look good, skate good, and materials are excellent. That makes a solid release in my book.
Silo. authorized vans syndicate dealer -current release available via http://shop.silostore.com! Or PM for previous releases...
Even Dill needs a casual shoe from time to time, right? The derby's are definitely a good shoe for that. I wear mine to work a lot and I know I wasn't a huge fan of them in the beginning. They wear well and have a lot of nice durability. Granted, I'd still prefer a zero lo, but these are decent and they've grown on me! The smooth black leather pair could be a nice replacement for my black/lake blue pair if I feel the urge... Then again, I still have zero lo's I need to bust out!
Hello, my name is Kyle and I'm addicted to Vans. I'm a size 9.5 or 10.
Looking for Supreme Disruptive Era's (any color, but especially teal), Supreme dark teal pebbled leather chukka, navy GR Zero Lo's...
Honestly now that they have been GR'd I don't see that happening...
The cool thing about them when they released as a Syndicate was that it was the first time anyone had ever seen that shoe. When Vans made it a GR they took away its "coolness".
