I saw some 006 slip-on's go for $96 the other day. I got mine for like $28 a few years ago... haha I guess it makes sense. It's a popular series and they'll just be getting more and more scarce over time.

WTF are these?! Interesting...Vintage Made in USA "AWESOME" by Jim Van Doren sneakers. A Sk8-Hi, but obviously not through Vans. Upon further research, there was a patent filing for this company in 1986, after Vans' bankruptcy, and their sell-off to a parent company. Was this Van Doren's next venture after Vans? Weird!

Yeah I know they're the 1st collaboration but I found two differences with my pair and this one

1. The foxing stripe is MIA
(Compared to my pair)


2. The back of the tongue is not completely leather
(Compared to my pair) although I'm not sure if mine is differnt than production because it is a sample

Definitely vaild points, but I still think these are authentic. They have got to be samples though. That rubber is on the 005 samples but not the released pairs. I can tell by the rubber's shape and texture. I have some samples of a syndicate OS, and many features are really only for looks, the interior seemed to be "missing" certain elements, such as material like the leather missing from the tongue on this air of JJ's. What that means, is that these were a very, very early sample, which served as a cosmetic look at the shoe before production. If that's not the case, then they're fake.

Yeah the overall shape, materials, and midsole construction looks on point.
It looks way too good to be fake

Just those 2 things threw me off
