I watched a little bit of it...Gotta agree with it being strange/funny that ppl are cool with spending $$$ with resellers if it's a sold out item, but somehow if a shoe retails at over $250 or whatever it's ridiculous.

Higher retail price means higher resale value?

It's all B.S. It's just to show more profit. They're taking advantage of something they know is cool right now. Sneaker collecting. How long do you think it will last? Dude, even the Nike Outlets don't even give good deals anymore. Crap goes to the outlets, and it's only $15-$30 off on most stuff...and then once it goes to the hash wall, then it's marked down, but what are the chances of finding what you want on that back wall? Whack!!! The outlets used to be like $40-$60 off of retail pricing. Their stuff is hype, so why not ride it while it's hot? Marketing is an intriguing business to me, because they've got it down to a science, and have figured out the general public's thought patterns, and buying patterns. Most assume outlets equals deals, but not so fast! Same with the Rack. Nike Roshe's were only $15 off, but everyone was buying them up like crazy! Me too. They're comfortable, but I wouldn't drive all over just looking for them. Save that $15 and just buy them at your local spot. Help that store out, too! You wanna see places like Undefeated and such stay around, support them! People don't know how to recognize value anymore. In terms of saving money, versus wasting time, versus what you're getting for your money, versus what is comparable to that item. I think I make sense! Yeah?
