Billy call me up sometime I am down to hang out... I think you still have some stickers you promised me.

I need to get back to basics in a way too..Cherish the moments and have no regrets.

Cant say I did that today I sat around the house all day and slept....even blew off a Christmas Parade that my bicycle group rides in. (I dont like riding in parades its a pain)

Already have a 10-22 EF-S and a 50mm 1.8 Mark I.

All thats left is a 70-200 f/4 IS and maybe a new tripod and flash?

Cant afford a 70-200 f/2.8 with or without IS..... so its not even an option plus that thing is heavy!
solid pick up, bro... best investment you'll not regret! on a side note, sorry for your loss... lift your head up and keep on trucking, brother!

Stickers are in! Super impressed with the quality, but they had trouble with my bleeds on the black OTWS sticker as you can see. Oh well. I also ordered more Hosoi stickers, this time in better, thicker vinyl, silkscreened to last, and in a smaller size. About 1/3 smaller than the first one we did. If you want some, just "donate" a few bucks to me via paypal, and make sure to include your address, and I'll send you a sticker pack that includes the prior crappier ones (which aren't that bad, but comparing...:)). PP is djguamstyles (at) hotmail (dot) com.

Thanks, hehe. I was trying to get it to fill in the 4x1 size, with the artwork I made, but I guess they were having trouble with the bleeds and what not. I'm a rookie with this shit, hehe. I guess that's what scissors are for.

Picked this 70-200 f/4 L (non-is) up in a trade plus $100 CASH for my HV40 video camera... I wanted the IS version but for a the lens plus cash it was a decent trade.

All thats left is a tripod and a flash debating between the Speedlite 580EX II or the 430EX II... thats only a grand or so.

Maybe I will have enough cash with Xmas $ and after I sell my EF 28-135 3.5-5.6 IS and my EF-S 18-55 3.5-5.6 IS lenses....

L series ... for the ballers like you Jim! And about the IS...how did people used to do without it back in the day huh? Not a deal breaker, but it is a nice luxury I admit.

Chris I got the lenses I wanted... at least 2 outta 3.

Do you want the 70-200 F/4?? I thought you shot primes mainly???

I have the 10-22 for the wide shots on my crop body, the 24-70 brick and now the 70-200 F/4 ( I wanted the IS but...)

Got any recommendations for a tripod/head that can hold my 50d and 24-70 and be able to hold a 70-200 F/2.8 IS when I rent or borrow one...

What do you use for a flash Chris?

^ I just want 2 more Lens', 70-200 f/2 and 135 2L.

Only prime I had was a 50 f/1.8, but my next will be the 135 someday.

For a tripod, I use this:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sunpak+-+Pl ... cp=2&lp=34

...it holds up my 5D, 24/70, 430ex (estimated 6-7 lbs) pretty cool.

For a Speedlight, I use a Canon 430ex.

If you look in my mirror, you can kind of see my set-up on the Tripod:

For some reason I thought you had more lenses....

Im jealous of the extra body I want another one but I will hold off till I make the jump to full frame I think UNLESS I find a 50D body for a steal...EOS 5D Mark II is only 2k for the body.

my gear list is as follows...

50D
EF-S 10-22 f/3.5-4.5
EF-S 18-55 IS f/3.5-5.6-GONNA SELL
EF 24-70 f/2.8L
EF 28-135 f/3.5-5.6-GONNA SELL
EF 50 f/1.8 Mark I (metal mount circa late 80's)
EF 70-200 f/4L non IS

Black rapid strap and factory canon strap(never use).... plus a Pelican hard case and a few different camera bags.
Also a SUPER CRAPPY "Kenlock" tripod that sucks bad... this will be given away once I get a better one.
Monofrotto 679 monopod with a 3229 head...
